The role
As COO, you will assume a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the day-to-day operations, driving the strategic direction of the organization, and operationalizing our purpose to Drive transformative and accelerated growth. Working closely with the executive team, you will co-create and execute business strategies aligned with mobileLIVE's mission and goals, and rally the resources needed to foster growth, profitability, and client satisfaction.
With your expertise in the technology consulting industry, you will navigate market trends and emerging technologies, making informed decisions to position the firm for success.
As mobileLIVE’s client leader, you will establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, enhancing the company's reputation and market presence. Through your inspiring leadership, strategic thinking, ability to enable organizational change, and exemplary client service, you will shape the future of the organization and contribute to its continued growth and excellence in the industry.

You will
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and scorecard of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective execution of business strategies.
- Provide leadership and guidance to functional areas, including Sales and Operations
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and the executive team to implement the strategic direction set by the CEO.
- Drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and optimize resource allocation to achieve operational goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance within functional teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Implement and oversee change management initiatives to adapt to evolving market and organizational needs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote ethical practices throughout the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Operational Leadership & Strategy
- Translate company strategy into operational plans that drive measurable growth in Canada and the US.
- Lead and optimize business operations across Delivery, PMO, Talent, and Support functions.
- Build scalable operating models that support modernization consulting and recurring revenue services.
Client Delivery & Excellence
- Ensure high-quality delivery across engagements with all customers
- Create the outcome model where mobileLIVE perceived and becomes the owner of the outcomes being delivered to the customer instead of T&M.
- Standardize delivery frameworks, accelerators, and KPIs for modernization programs (Digital Apps, Data & AI, Cloud).
- Partner with Practice Leads and CTO Office to align delivery capabilities with innovation.
Financial & Performance Management
- Drive accountability for margin, utilization, and revenue growth.
- Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor operational health.
- Create strategic pricing models (value-based, outcome-based).
Talent & Culture
- Partner with HR and leadership to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
- Ensure workforce planning aligns with market expansion and project demands.
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and customer obsession.
Growth Enablement
- Support M&A, partnerships, and strategic alliances where appropriate.
- Work closely with CEO on go-to-market execution and investor/analyst engagement.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology consulting, systems integration, or enterprise IT services.
- Proven track record in scaling operations across consulting, delivery, and modernization services.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with experience in managing multi-million-dollar P&Ls.
- Deep understanding of Cloud, Data/AI, and Digital transformation trends.
- Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence across multi-location/global teams.
- Experience in telecom, banking/financial services, or retail sectors is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
