The role

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Business Systems Analyst (AI BSA) to join our Financial clients Capital Markets team. This role will play a critical part in enabling AI-driven capabilities across multiple products, with a strong focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered chatbots, and intelligent extensions to existing platforms. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business, product, and technology teams - helping translate AI capabilities into well-defined business and technical requirements, while maintaining a holistic understanding of how AI changes impact downstream systems and products.


You will

AI & Product Enablement

  • Act as a product-oriented AI Business Systems Analyst, supporting AI initiatives such as chatbot platforms and AI-based extensions to existing systems (e.g., pricing and ISP/GMP-related initiatives).
  • Translate AI use cases into clear, structured business and technical requirements, ensuring alignment across interconnected products.
  • Support end-to-end AI initiatives, from ideation through delivery, including prior experience seeing chatbot or AI projects from start to finish.

Requirements & Documentation

  • Produce high-quality documentation, including:
  • Jira user stories
  • Business requirements
  • Technical requirements
  • Confluence documentation (following established templates after onboarding)
  • Ensure documentation reflects both business intent and underlying technical architecture, including APIs and system integrations.

AI & Technical Understanding

  • Demonstrate a strong conceptual understanding of:
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Differences between rule-based chatbots and LLM-based conversational AI
  • Understand AI solution architecture, including:
  • Role of LLMs (e.g., OpenAI-based models)
  • Vector databases
  • Azure databases and APIs
  • High-level API request/response patterns and how to document them in user stories
  • Apply prompting best practices, including experience using tools such as Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner closely with Product Owners, BSAs, Engineers, and Architecture teams to ensure AI solutions are well understood and correctly implemented.
  • Participate in key in-office discussions and working sessions to build deep product and domain knowledge.

Who you are
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, with a focus on documentation excellence.
  • Solid understanding of AI concepts, particularly LLMs, chatbots, and AI-driven platforms.
  • Prior experience in banking is mandatory; Capital Markets experience is a strong asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with full professional fluency in English.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Canadian work experience, ensuring strong cultural and organizational fit.
  • Exposure to API-heavy environments and distributed system architectures.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills


Nice-to-have skills

  • Experience working with Capital Markets systems, pricing engines, or trading-related platforms.
  • Ability to balance product-owner mindset with sufficient technical depth (not purely functional).
